Michael Vick’s New Gig Beyond BET

Just when you might of thought Mike Vick's shine from reality t.v was over, think again. In addition to his show "The Michael Vick Project" currently airing on BET, Mike Vick has gained a spot on Spike TV. He will be on  "Pros vs. Joes' forthcoming season. Also, joining him will be Terrell Owens and Donovan McNabb.

Here is what the show is about;
“Pros vs. Joes” features regular guys competing against an array of popular sports legends from the last two decades. As with last season, there will be only one sport played in each episode featuring three skill competitions and a three-on-three game pitting the Pros against the Joes. The sports this season will be football (4 episodes) and basketball (4 episodes).

I'm a tad bit interested to watch.I don't know when it will offically air, but I will keep you updated.

Lol well said.Nice little line for the start of the interview ....How did you get into the music scene ? Who inspired you?

 I been writing musik since i was like 13-14 or younger. Started with the battle raps, battlin niggas, killin the competition...then decided to really take the musik serious in 2008. Biggie, Jay, Jada, Nas, Pac, Pun - all these dudes inspired and influenced me early.


You know I have to ask from every other artist out here grinding, what sets Castro apart from them?
Quality product the ppl want....i feel like my music, my lyrics, my swag...its all on a level above the competition. I got that quality product.

At a time where the music industry is a rollercoaster, which would you sign to if given a chance a Indie or a Major label?
Every artist wants to be on a major whether they admit it or not...but at this point im jus makin good musik and doin it from the muscle. I have my team H.F.M (HoodFella Muzik) and we jus rockin out right now. Alot of these rappers on majors are broke.


Being that you are from Camden, New Jersey, which is not far from Philly, do people compare your style of music to theirs?
Not really, I got love for all the dudes in Philly doin they thing. I dont think my musik sounds like nobody in Philly tho. Im tryna bring the shine to my city...we known for alot of negative things and i wanna show the world there is talent in Camden.


Camden isnt the best place to grow up how did you maintain to stay driven
 I come from a big family so i had alot of examples that taught me how to move. Older cousins that passed away young, in and out of jail....I learned from their mistakes. My angels been with me.

Who are some of the artist or producers you will like to work with?
 Im willing to work with anybody who got a passion for what they do and have some type of name built for themself. Producers send that heat to: Castromuzik@gmail.com. I love Swizz, Timbo and all them but these underground producers got dope beats too.

Are you pleased with feedback you are getting?Im gettin alot of positive feedback from people....regular fans and other artists so i kno im on the right path. I jus gotta stay focused and stay true to myself. I plan on having a big 2010.

This issue is due out March 23rd its the April/May issue with Methodman,Ghostface,and Raekwon on the cover. I love that they came to be on the cover of Source again. I grew up listening to Wu-Tang, its always good to see where music was and where it's at now.
